What is a Home Team?
A Home Team is small groups that meet weekly or biweekly in someone’s home for friendship, having fun, bible study, prayer, and spiritual growth. They are for adults of all ages, stages of life, and spiritual maturity.

If I am not a Christian or I’m uncomfortable with the idea of a Bible study, why should I join a Home Team?
Home Teams are comprised of people just like you. Home Teams are a place where you can shut the world out, slow down, and hang out with people who do not have it all together. If you like to laugh and eat great food you will enjoy the experience.

Do I need to know a lot about the Bible to join a Home Team?
Absolutely not! A Home Team is a place where you can be yourself and nothing more. We are all at different places. God is okay with that and so are we. The Laugh Your Way series is not really a bible study but it does use biblical principles to guide us to the best possible marriage. Just relax and be yourself.

When you sign up for the Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage series you are committing for six weeks to be in a group. Each Home Team picks the length of time they will meet. However, most groups meet for an hour and a half to two hours.

What goes on at a group meeting?
Though each group differs in how they do things, most groups have a social time, that normally involves food, then they transition to a study, for this six weeks the Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage series, and then each group has a time where they pray for each other.
